comprehensive source of information on state, local, utility, and federal incentives that
promote renewable energy and energy efficiency. DSIRE contains information on over
2,000 renewable energy and energy efficiency programs and is visited by more than
200,000 unique users per month.
Established in 1995, DSIRE is an ongoing project of the North Carolina Solar Center and

Energy and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

GeoThermal Heat Pumps for your Clearwater, St. Pete or Tampa home.
Geothermal heat pumps are similar to ordinary heat pumps, but use the ground instead of outside air
to provide heating, air conditioning and, in most cases, hot water. Because they use the earth's
natural heat, they are among the most energy efficient and comfortable heating and cooling
technologies currently available.
Best of all, geothermal heat pumps qualify for a federal tax credit of 30% of cost with no upper limit.
This credit is also available until 2016!
